Nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Blount County, WaveSound Recording Studio provides a comfortable, stress-free atmosphere for your recording experience. At WaveSound, we can accommodate all of your recording needs, including recording vocals with accompaniment tracks or a full band. Our 100% digital recording studio can take your project from concept to completion with the the latest state of the art equipment. We offer tracking of instruments and vocals, vocal tuning, editing, and mixing and mastering. We can upload your digital tracks to the streaming service of your choice or recommend CD and album duplication for physical media. Music is our passion, and we focus on creating the best sound possible for you.

  • WaveSound uses Avid Pro Tools as our DAW. Pro Tools is the standard for professional tracking and mixing. We also use PreSonus Studio One for mastering. This software has provided exceptional results for our productions since 2013. 

  • Our studio is equipped with the StudioLive 32S, the latest digital console by PreSonus.  We have over 64 inputs to serve all of your recording needs.

  • WaveSound uses only the best microphones for clear, powerful vocal recording.  Some of our brands of choice are Neumann, Shure, EV and Crown.

  • Oubound gear is very important, especially if it's the "right" gear. We use only Avalon for our preamp needs.

  • Our studio is equipped with Event 20/20 bas studio monitors along with Shure 940 and Focal headphones to provide ultimate clarity for mixing and mastering the best sound possible. In addition, KRK studio monitors are used to provide even more perspective for the highest quality sound.

  • WaveSound Studio has the perfect set up for musicians to play their own gear or use ours. We are professionally equipped with a Roland VAD506 electronic drumset, a Yamaha s70xs keyboard, a Yamaha BBG 5 string bass, and a vintage 1976 Fender Precision bass. In addition, each musician can have their own monitor mix to meet their individual needs during recording.
